A big challengen athletes and their parents face is how to time meals and what to eat, prior to and durning a multi event weekends such as tournaments, meets, competitions or races. There are often very short times between events and very high quality meal chioces close at hand. The key to healthy eating durning these events, is to ensure you have nutrient rich meals leading up to the busy days and high quality breakfasts, followed by high energy snacks before, after, and between competitive and/or training events.
